Crayola Colorful Journey Order Now

I should have more closely read some of the reviews for this product. We purchased this game for a 3 year old boy thinking this would have some age appropriate games (the artwork and crayola marketing seemed to indicate that would be the case - it even touted coloring pages). Unfortunately that's not what this game is.

The basic premise sounds good enough... the story character has been sucked into a crayola book where evil goblins are "gobbling up" all the colors. Fillup (or Violet) travel mindlessly through the world (you don't control them except to draw objects to impede their progress or help them over an obstacles). Using a palette of 4 crayons that each possess a different property you draw shapes in the air that form planes the characters can travel across to recover the crayons that have been hidden throughout the world and make it safely to the exit. The game play is a lot like the popular computer game series Lemmings - though the puzzles and the options for solutions are a lot less interesting. In my opinion, for what it's worth, this game would be most appropriate for children from about 7 - 10 but not intended for children much younger than that (despite the package) and honestly not interesting enough to keep kids much older involved.

If you like Lemmings you MAY enjoy this game. Then again, if you really like the Lemmings games you may want to forgo this purchase and wait for the "real" thing. Overall 2 stars.

Family Party: 30 Great Games Decide Now

Get more detail about Family Party: 30 Great Games.

Chicken Shoot Right now

OK, so it's a little corny, but this really is our favorite Wii game. I bought this for my 4 and 6 year olds (yes, I know it's E10+) and we love to play it with them. It IS first person shooter, but it's very cartoony and silly. You basically shoot all these crazy chickens that go by on the screen. Reminds me of the old Duck Hunt a little. Lowest Price Karaoke Revolution: Presents American Idol Encore 2 with Microphone

I must say I was very disappointed in this game. I am an AI fan and was so excited to play this. But, to my disappointment, I didn't know most of the songs that were on the game. Maybe 2 or 3 of them...which is not enough to get any enjoyment out of it. The WII version doesn't allow you to download your own songs so I was stuck. How many times can you sing 3 songs? It gets pretty boring! I am tradin this back in to Amazon today. I really lost out on this game.Get more detail about Karaoke Revolution: Presents American Idol Encore 2 with Microphone.

Save Gravity

This game is not a time limited game, you have the luxury to take your time and think before trying; the party games do have time windows. Moving through the 100 puzzles is very straight forward, but the answers are not. What is very nice is that there can be more than one way to solve the puzzle. It takes a lot of discipline to not just hit the hint button when getting stumped, however through patience and thinking the answers can be found. The fact that the hint buttons have a cost that you must budget against keeps one from hitting the button for no reason. I would have liked if some of the party games had more options, such as longer durations or the ability to play head to head. Still very fun.Get more detail about Gravity.

Cheapest World of Goo [Online Game Code]

I've found Goo to be an amazing game. I'm afraid to say that I've racked up many hours of play on my wii as well as my laptop in the pursuit of goo balls. I enjoy it so much because Goo doesn't totally rely on your swift physical responses, although at some levels it is required, but your thought process in solving various problems. Being 54, I'm not easily amused by video games, but this one is truly addicting!Get more detail about World of Goo [Online Game Code].
